Celal Aktaş (BA in American Culture & Literature: MBA degree in Social Sciences) has been working as an Administrative Coordinator & Lecturer since 1999 and in charge of teaching translation I-II and III, Legal Text Translation (EU Texts, EU Terminology). He has worked as a lecturer, was responsible for the teaching General English Courses and translation course to Department of International relations, Translation Course to Department of Translation & Interpretation, advanced writing and reading to Departments of Economics, Management, Engineering, English Language and Literature.

Mr. Aktaş who has 15 years extensive experience in the field of teaching English language and translation of articles, patent specifications, legal texts, Agreements, Contracts, has great working experiences in the universities and translation offices. He has embarked on his career as a translator in 1992 in different translation offices. He was dealing with the translation and revision of articles, patent documentation, agreements, contracts, administrative, technical specifications, notary certificates and instruments, Loan Agreements, Power of Attorney, a number of legal documents. Before working in Atılım University he has worked in Pamukkale University for 3 years as a lecturer and worked on teaching General English, preparation of tests and materials. The most distinctive feature of Mr. Aktaş’s is his great knowledge of EU translation procedures and EU terminology.

Besides his great experience in the field of translation and teaching English Language, he has excellent managerial skills including the organizational and administrative developments.
