Verda Çakmak
Verda Çakmak was born in 1974 in Ankara. She graduated from Boğaziçi University, department of English Language and Literature in 2001. After her graduation she worked as an English teacher at an elementary school in Ortaca for two years. In 2003, she started to work as a research assistant at the department of Educational Sciences in Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University. She completed her MA here on Curriculum Development in 2006. She has been working as an instructor at the School of Foreign Languages of Atılım University since 2008. She is interested in all types of music. When she was doing her degree she took part as a vocalist in the group Ychorus which released an album called “Colours” from Ada Plak in 1999. She is married and has one daughter.
